Recently acquired by Acorns, EarlyBird introduced an innovative approach to investing in children’s futures.

Early Bird
EarlyBird reimagined how families could invest in their children's futures. It created a space where families could preserve special memories. For example, when grandparents gave monetary gifts, they could also include video messages, making investing feel personal and meaningful.
The Challenge
I had to make EarlyBird stand out in a crowded market by communicating the unique value of investing in children beyond traditional options like 529 plans. The challenge was to convince our audience that building a flexible financial cushion—accessible when the child turns 18—was not only important but could also complement existing savings strategies.
The Copy
I crafted light, conversational copy to emphasize the value of starting early, engaging loved ones, and making saving a priority. The messaging helped transform saving from a purely financial task into a meaningful family tradition rooted in connection and long-term impact.
